Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician for Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center’s ARU in Houston. This full-time role supports therapists, assists with patient transport, and ensures safe, organized care in a 30-bed inpatient rehab unit for patients recovering from major illnesses or injuries.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 6–12 months in a rehabilitation setting strongly recommended; on-the-job training after orientation.
• Certifications: CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the rehabilitation team with patient care activities as directed by an OTR/RPT.
• Safely transport patients to therapy and activities; assist with treatment preparation and observation of patient responses.
• Communicate effectively with therapists and team members; maintain a safe, organized environment to promote patient outcomes.
