Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Rehab Tech to support licensed therapists in patient rehabilitation. You will help prepare treatment areas, assist patients with exercises and mobility, and maintain a safe, organized clinical environment under supervision.

Qualifications

• Healthcare education in related area is required.
• Aide to the OTR/L, PT, RN, CTRS, SLP-CC credentialing is required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists in providing therapeutic care and support.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist patients with exercises and mobility.
• Manage equipment and maintain a safe, organized clinical environment.
• Assist with transfers and patient transportation as directed.
• Report observed or reported changes in patient condition to the Licensed RN/Physician or Licensed Therapist.
• Collect laboratory specimens according to hospital protocol.
