Job summary

Saint Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Rehab Tech to assist licensed therapists in providing rehabilitation care and support to patients. You will prepare treatment areas, help patients with exercises and mobility, and maintain a safe, organized clinical environment under supervision.

You will also assist with Activities of Daily Living, collect specimens per protocol, report patient changes to the RN or therapist, and help transfer patients between departments

Qualifications

• Aide to licensed therapists in rehabilitation.
• Caregiver support tasks as directed by clinicians.
• Basic lifesupport certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in providing rehabilitation care.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with exercises and mobility.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and non-clinical duties.
• Collect laboratory specimens per hospital protocol.
• Report changes in patient condition to RN/therapist.
• Prepare patients for transfers to other departments.
• Perform safe transfers with equipment.
• Assist patients to carts, beds, or wheelchairs.
