Responsibilities

• Supports efficient operation of the therapy department.
• Assists therapists with treatment.
• Transports patients as directed.
• Coordinates scheduling with the nursing staff.
• Prepares patients, treatment areas, equipment and supplies for treatment.
• Maintains awareness of patient census and programs.
• Follows procedures for care of equipment and supplies and completes cleaning logs.
• Ensures adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained.
• Completes forms, records, copies, and filing with signatures.
• Assists Rehab Director with month end billing reconciliation and forms.
• Assists or completes patient/staff schedules daily.
• Runs and analyzes reports to assist in department operations and communications.
• Assists in orientation procedures for new hires under supervision.
