Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating with nursing staff, ensuring supplies, assisting with billing reconciliation, and helping orient new hires.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year health care experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year office experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Supports efficient operation of the therapy department.
• Assists therapists with treatment.
• Transports patients as directed.
• Coordinates scheduling with the nursing staff.
• Prepares patients, treatment areas, equipment and supplies for treatment.
• Maintains awareness of change in patient census and programs.
• Follows procedures for care of equipment and supplies including cleaning logs.
• Ensures adequate office and treatment supplies are maintained.
• Completes forms, records, copies, filing and signatures.
• Assists Rehab Director in month end billing reconciliation procedures.
• Assists or completes patient and staff schedules daily.
• Runs and analyzes reports to aid department operations and patient management.
