Job summary

Ann's Choice by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to provide clerical and clinical support in the Rehab Department under supervision. The role is PRN/Per-Diem, with compensation from $23-$25 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with treatment prep, patient transport, and maintaining Rehab equipment, while ensuring policies are followed and residents are treated with courtesy.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or current within a reasonable timeframe.
• Minimum 1 year of related healthcare experience; geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning, maintenance, and inventory of Rehab equipment.

What you will make an impact

• Ensuring the resident care policies and procedures are followed in compliance with applicable quality of care standards.


• Assisting clinical rehabilitation staff with the preparation of treatment area, customer transport (ambulatory or wheelchair) to and from the Rehab department.


• Assisting with patient treatment only under the approved supervisory rules and regulations pertaining to each discipline.


• Maintaining the cleaning, maintenance, and inventory of all Rehab equipment.


• Scheduling rehabilitation appointments.


• Consistently and appropriately responding to the needs and concerns of residents, families, and visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.

What you will need

• CPR Certification


• Minimum of 1 year of related experience; experience working with geriatrics preferred


• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
