Landmark Hospital of Joplin is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join our team in a full-time role. You will assist in patient transport, positioning, and safety during treatments, under therapy staff direction.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, BLS, and healthcare experience; CNA or Rehab Tech certification preferred. This hospital emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant or Rehab Tech certification (preferred).
• Current BLS certification Required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience (hospital-level experience preferred).
• Must be organized, a team player, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
• Secures and positions patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Provides added safety during treatments with the patients and patient's equipment, i.e. IV poles, oxygen tanks, Foley bags, etc.
• Instructs, motivates, safeguards, and assists patients in practicing exercises and functional activities.
• Under the direction of therapy staff, measure vital signs to determine the effects of treatments or for patient evaluations.
• Keeps area, supplies, and equipment organized and disinfected between treatments.
• Participates in patient care tasks such as assisting with passing food trays, toilet hygiene, feeding patients, and transferring patients out of bed.
• May also perform other duties as assigned
