Job summary

Wabash General Hospital in Mount Carmel, IL, is seeking a Rehab Tech to support Rehabilitation Services. You will assist in treating patients, preparing for therapy sessions, and helping maintain therapy spaces and equipment.

Responsibilities include setting up treatment rooms, cleaning and sanitizing, ordering supplies, and assisting in inpatient care such as transfer training, ambulation, and stair climbing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
• CPR certification recommended.
• Willing to work in patient care and provide flexible coverage for front office absences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in treating patients and prepare for therapy sessions.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment at treatment areas and in rooms.
• Set up treatment rooms, clean, and sanitize equipment; order and maintain therapy and office supply inventory.
• Assist in inpatient care including transfer training, ambulation, and stair climbing training/instruction.
