Job summary

Wabash General Hospital is seeking a Rehab Tech to support Rehabilitation Services at Mt Carmel, IL, assisting with patient care, preparing therapy sessions, and maintaining treatment areas and equipment.

You will help set up treatment rooms, clean and sanitize equipment, manage therapy and office supply inventory, and assist in inpatient care including transfer training, ambulation, and stair-climbing instruction. Strong teamwork and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
• CPR certification recommended.
• Willing to work in patient care and provide flexible coverage for front office absences.

Responsibilities

• Assists in treating patients and helping them prepare for and finalize therapy sessions.
• Maintains treatment areas and equipment in treatment spaces and rooms.
• Sets up treatment rooms, cleans, and sanitizes equipment.
• Orders and maintains therapy and office supply inventory.
• Assists in inpatient care including transfer training, ambulation, and stair climbing training/instruction.
