Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a compassionate professional to ensure compliance with resident care standards and assist with patient rehabilitation at Highland Springs, a vibrant retirement community in Dallas, Texas. This role involves direct patient care tasks and requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, with a preference for geriatrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with resident care policies and quality standards.
• Assisting clinical staff with treatment area preparation and patient transport.
• Maintaining cleanliness and inventory of Rehab equipment.
• Scheduling rehabilitation appointments.
• Responding to the needs of residents, families, and visitors in a courteous manner.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Ensuring the resident care policies and procedures are followed in compliance with applicable quality of care standards.
• Assisting clinical rehabilitation staff with the preparation of treatment area, customer transport (ambulatory or wheelchair) to and from the Rehab department. Assisting with patient treatment only under the approved supervisory rules and regulations pertaining to each discipline.
• Maintaining the cleaning, maintenance, and inventory of all Rehab equipment.
• Scheduling rehabilitation appointments.
• Consistently and appropriately responding to the needs and concerns of residents, families, and visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.

Compensation

Commensurate upon experience starting around $15.00 per hour

What You Will Need

• CPR Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience; experience working with geriatrics preferred
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
