Job summary

Sequim Bay Post Acute is seeking a Rehab Tech (CNA required) to support our PT/OT/SLP teams. You will transport residents to sessions, assist with setup, and ensure smooth transitions between appointments in a therapy-focused, daytime schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a Washington CNA license, have strong communication skills, and can use scheduling systems. The role offers a predictable, team-oriented environment with opportunities to learn from licensed clinicians.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license valid in Washington State (required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Be the behind-the-scenes force that keeps therapy running smoothly. As a Rehab Tech at Sequim Bay Post Acute, you'll support our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy teams — helping residents get to sessions on time, get set up safely, and get the most out of every visit. It's a great fit for a CNA who wants hands-on healthcare work with a more predictable, therapy-focused pace.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport residents to and from therapy sessions
• Help set up residents for treatment as directed by licensed therapy staff
• Support smooth transitions between sessions and coordinate logistics for group therapy
• Prepare treatment areas and supplies, and clean/sanitize equipment per infection control standards
• Monitor gym organization, restock supplies, and flag damaged or missing equipment
• Assist with scheduling coordination, tracking logs, and routine paperwork
• Communicate resident availability (meals, nursing care, appointments) to the therapy team
• Work closely with PT/OT/SLP staff, nursing, and front-line facility staff

What You'll Need

• Active CNA license valid in Washington State (required)

• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Prior healthcare, rehab, SNF, or patient care experience a plus
• Experience working with older adults a plus
• CPR/BLS certification a plus
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs. with assistance/equipment and stay active throughout your shift
