Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a full-time Rehab Tech in Hanover, NH to assist rehabilitation staff with patient activities in accordance with licensure and Practice Acts mandates.

Qualifications

• Be available to work Monday-Friday, occasional weekend day may be needed.
• Hold a CNA, completion of Preferred Therapy Solutions Competency, or currently enrolled in a therapy program.
• Hold a High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrate concise oral and written communication with rehab staff, facility staff, patients, and families.
• Demonstrate regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assists with specific treatment activities assigned by the treating therapist.
• Transports patients to and from rehabilitation dept. for scheduled treatment and assist with transfers.
• Prepares patient for therapy as directed by supervising therapist.
• Helps modify patient equipment (wheelchairs, splints) as necessary.
• Reports patient response to treatment and changes in medical status to supervising therapist immediately.
• Assists with computer data entry and generates reports as requested.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation of payroll, time, and clinical reporting.
• Adheres to HIPAA, infection control, universal precautions and OSHA standards.
• Uses professional verbal and written communication.
• Clerical duties such as answering calls, photocopying, filing, faxing/scanning/uploading documents, supply orders.
• Maintains rehabilitation area and equipment in a neat, clean and safe manner.
• Attends in-services and facility meetings; works cooperatively in group settings.
• Implements customer service to promote value and loyalty; reports to work on time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

A full-time Rehab Tech position is now available in our Hanover, NH location. A Rehab Tech with Preferred Therapy Solutions will assist the Rehabilitation Staff with patient-related activities in accordance with state licensure and Practice Acts mandates. A Rehab Tech provides technical, and light administrative duties for the Rehabilitation Department.

Specific Duties

• Assists with specific treatment activities assigned by the treating therapist.

• Maintains rehabilitation area and equipment in a neat, clean and safe manner.

Requirements

• Hold a Certified Nurses Assistant (C.N.A.), Completion of Preferred Therapy Solutions Competency, or currently enrolled in a therapy program (e.g. PTA school or COTA school.)
• Hold a High school diploma or Graduate Equivalency Degree.
• Demonstrate concise oral and written communication skills with rehab. staff, facility staff, patients, and families.
• Demonstrate regular attendance.

Good Faith Rate Range: $18.00 - $26.00
