Qualifications

• Clear oral and written communication with rehab staff, facility staff, patients and families.
• Demonstrates regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatment activities as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Transport patients to and from the rehabilitation department for scheduled treatments and assist with transfers.
• Prepare patients for therapy as directed by supervising therapist.
• Assist with modifying patient equipment (wheelchairs, splints) as necessary.
• Document and report patient responses and changes in medical status to supervising therapist.
• Handle clerical tasks: data entry, reports, and documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with infection control and OSHA standards.
• Support a positive, cooperative work environment and provide excellent patient service.
