Job summary

Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a motivated Rehab Tech to support the rehabilitation department. The role focuses on non-clinical tasks, equipment management, patient transportation, and scheduling to enhance therapy services.

You will assist therapists, prepare treatment areas, and help maintain a safe, organized environment while following HIPAA and facility policies. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and preparation of physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatment sessions as directed by therapists.
• Transport and transfer residents safely to and from therapy sessions as directed by therapists.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas before and after patient use.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
• Communicate routinely with supervisors, therapists, and healthcare personnel regarding patient schedules and department needs.
• Collaborate with therapists to coordinate resident scheduling and treatment logistics.
• Attend team meetings, department trainings, and staff education programs as assigned.
• Accurately complete and submit logs, reports, and departmental forms as directed.
• Support documentation processes and logs to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor inventory levels and order office and clinical supplies as needed.
