Valley View Medical Center in Bullhead City area seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Rehabilitation Unit on the night shift. This full-time role covers 3x12 shifts from 6:30pm to 7am with rotating weekends, offering an opportunity to contribute to patient-centered rehabilitation care in a community hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
• Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.
