Job summary

Allied-Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate all aspects of patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager or Supervisor in a rehabilitation setting.

The RN will provide care for patients from adolescent through geriatric, assess patient needs, and ensure care aligns with Nursing Department policies. Supervision includes LPNs, CNAs, and Unit Secretaries, with emphasis on teamwork and quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• CPR certification must be obtained and maintained.
• Clearances required: PA State Police criminal history check, PA Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse Central Register (Childline), PA Department of Human Services FBI fingerprint clearance and PA Department of Aging FBI fingerprint clearance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for patients.
• Provide a therapeutic environment for patients and family development, with optimism, encouragement and praise for positive behavior and achievement of goals.
• Type of supervision exercised: Team Leader; Jobs reporting to this position: LPN, CNA/NA, Unit Secretaries.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience preferred
