Job summary

Allied Services in Scranton, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate all aspects of care for patients in the Transitional Rehab Unit under the Director of Nursing. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, goal-oriented care for adolescents to geriatrics, while supporting family development and positive patient outcomes.

The RN will supervise LPNs and CNAs, follow Nursing Department policies, assess patient data, and ensure care aligns with growth and development needs.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to interact and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• CPR certification must be obtained and maintained.
• Team leadership responsibilities with supervision of LPNs, CNAs and unit secretaries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of patient care in the Transitional Rehab Unit.
• Provide a therapeutic environment to support patient and family development and achievement of goals.
• Supervise and coordinate work of LPNs and CNAs in the unit.
