Job summary

Shepherd Center is seeking a Program Technician to support the SHARE Military Initiative. The role focuses on helping veterans and first responders through life skills activities and daily living tasks in a rehabilitation setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma, a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean record, and BLS within 3 months. One year of health care experience is preferred, and familiarity with Microsoft Office is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with clean driving record; BLS required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Guides and monitors patients in planning and performing daily living tasks.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (showering, dressing, transfers, meals).
• Supervises patients on life skills outings and cognitive retraining tasks.
• Transfers and lifts with assistance as needed; wheelchair mobility and ROM tasks.
