Job summary

Shepherd Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan and deliver rehabilitation services for complex conditions in a hospital setting.

You will develop individualized treatment programs, educate patients and families, and document progress while coordinating with the care team. Georgia licensure and BLS are required; two years of recent clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice in Georgia (BLS required).
• Two years of recent clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient’s physical and functional status and plans treatment.
• Develops and implements treatment programs and reassesses progress.
• Provides patient and family training for optimal care and discharge planning.
• Documents observations clearly and completes required records.
• Collaborates with therapy teams and participates in quality/safety initiatives.
