Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Rehab Clinical Operations Manager to oversee daily inpatient rehabilitation operations.

The role focuses on staffing, throughput, admissions, and interdisciplinary coordination to maintain high-quality care and safety standards. The position reports to Rehabilitation Services leadership, ensuring alignment with system-wide standards, driving efficiency, and performance across rehab departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a rehabilitation field.
• Five (5) years of related experience including two (2) years of supervisory or management experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current license in Florida as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Audiologist or Speech-Language Pathologist (if SLP, CCC required).
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations including staffing, scheduling, productivity, resources, workflows, and patient flow; ensures compliant timecard practices.
• Identifies clinical care gaps; collaborates to update processes and SOPs to improve care delivery and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitors expenses; supports budget development; contributes to improvement plans and growth initiatives.
• Coaches supervisors and frontline staff to drive engagement, performance, and career development; manages recruitment and performance processes.
• Collaborates on program development and system integration; builds relationships with nursing, medicine, care coordination, quality, and administrative teams.
• Maintains attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies; participates in meetings and community activities.
