Job summary

Bethesda Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Montana to provide basic nursing care and ongoing assessments for residents. You will participate in care planning, document accurately, and communicate with the care team and families as needed.

The role requires IV and CPR/AED certifications (or the ability to obtain them within six months). Excellent communication and critical thinking are essential in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Montana.
• IV Certification required or able to obtain within six months of employment.
• CPR/AED certification required or able to obtain within six months of employment.
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills; critical thinking required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing basis.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the IDT and families.
• Document assessments accurately and update care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely; follow physician orders.
• Administer IV fluids only if IV certified.
• Notify physician using SBARR communication tool.
