Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center, Inc in Pocatello, ID is seeking a day shift, full-time Rehabilitation CNA to join our compassionate team. The CNA will work in partnership with the registered nurse to support safe patient care and assist with ADLs, mobility, and basic tasks.

Requirements include High School or GED, current Idaho CNA certification, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preferred candidates have knowledge of medical terminology and 1 year of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Current Idaho CNA certification required.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Work with the RN to support safe patient care and promote healing.
• Document data and report observations and patient concerns to the RN.
• Obtain and record patients’ vital signs and monitor condition.
• Assist patients with mobility and ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties as needed.
