Job summary

Advanced Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Technician/CNA and Activities Coordinator to support residents in rehabilitative services. The role focuses on restoring mobility, strength, and function, while also planning and coordinating therapeutic activities to enhance quality of life.

The position is Full-Time on weekdays with 8-hour day shifts. The candidate should have NV CNA licensure and healthcare experience, with a passion for engaging residents in meaningful and enjoyable

Qualifications

• CNA license required in NV.
• Experience in healthcare or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Experience as a Restorative Aide preferred.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging residents in meaningful activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in assessments of residents’ physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas for safety and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on assistance and guidance during therapy sessions.
• Use adaptive equipment and environment modifications to promote independence.
• Document resident progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with residents and families to set goals and educate on techniques.
• Engage residents in activities and assist as needed to promote participation.
• Set up and clean activity spaces and assist with mobility when escorting residents.
