Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator in a Michigan clinic. The role involves assisting with treatments, greeting patients, and helping with scheduling and paperwork in compliance with state requirements.

You will work closely with physical therapists and assistants, providing routine treatments, maintaining clean equipment, and ensuring compassionate, patient-focused care in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with time management.
• Compassionate team player.
• Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
• Complete tasks thoroughly.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during treatments.
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients with exercises under staff direction.
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities.
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens/towels and maintains linen cabinets.
• Assists with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
