Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (NRHN) seeks a Rehab Aide to support OT/PT in patient treatment and to assist in departmental operations, including clerical and housekeeping duties. This role participates in group settings under supervision and adheres to NRHN policies and standards of care.

Required are good general health and the ability to assist with transfers and ambulation. Bilingual Spanish is preferred at selected sites, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish preferred at selected sites.
• Ability to bend, lift or assist with transfers and ambulation.
• Adequate physical strength to assist with resistive activities.
• On the job training in equipment use and departmental methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist OT/PT in patient treatment as directed by the therapist.
• Perform clerical and housekeeping tasks as assigned by supervisor to support department operations.
• Assist licensed therapists supervising patients in group settings.
