Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center is seeking a Rehab Team Assistant to welcome patients, support therapists with non-clinical tasks, and help maintain a clean, organized clinic environment. You will assist with patient scheduling and other office duties to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a health care degree, is energetic, a team player, and dedicated to outstanding customer service, with BLS within 90 days of hire and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Observation time in a therapy setting preferred.
• 1 year Exercise physiology, personal training, or related health field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and assist therapists with non-clinical tasks.
• Maintain a clean, neat environment and assist with patient scheduling and other office duties.
• Support rehab team with patient flow and administrative tasks.

This rehab team member merges excellent customer service and clinic interventions. The core job duties include welcoming patients, assisting therapists with non-clinical tasks to provide high quality treatment, ensuring a clean and neat environment and assisting with patient scheduling and other office duties. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a career in therapy or other health care degree and has a team player attitude, is energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service.
