Job summary

Ultimate Therapy in New Britain, CT is seeking a dependable Rehab Aide to join our rehabilitation department. This entry‑level role supports residents and a clinical team, providing non‑clinical assistance and helping with daily workflow.

You will prepare treatment spaces, assist with transport to therapy, keep equipment clean, and collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, PTA, and COTA professionals while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working with residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize therapy areas for daily treatment sessions.
• Assist residents with transportation to and from scheduled therapy.
• Clean and sanitize rehabilitation equipment.
• Keep the therapy gym organized, stocked, and ready for use.
• Provide non-clinical support to Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy staff.
• Assist with general department tasks and daily workflow.
• Help maintain a welcoming and safe environment for residents.
