Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a rehab co-op aide currently enrolled in a CAPTE-accredited health science or entry‑level physical therapy program to support inpatient rehabilitation staff. Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will perform tasks you have trained for and assist with patient care for a wide age range, from adolescent to geriatric.

Your responsibilities include assisting with equipment maintenance, inventory, and coordinating with Occupational and Speech

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a health science major or entry level physical therapy degree program accredited by CAPTE.
• Prerequisite coursework completed as required by enrollment school to participate in co-op education.
• Active co-op status in accordance with state licensing regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist with ordering supplies and inventory control under department manager supervision.
• Maintain and clean rehabilitation equipment daily/weekly/monthly as required.
• Assist supervising therapist in patient care per state licensing regulations, across adolescent to geriatric patients.
• Under supervision, perform PT interventions within coursework competency during formal co-op rotation.
• Assist inpatient Occupational and Speech Therapists with equipment and patient care as instructed.
• Complete other appropriate duties as assigned.
