Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital seeks a Rehab Aide for the Acute Rehab Unit on a per diem basis. You will assist therapists, help schedule patients, transcribe and distribute schedules, and support treatment setup and cleanup. High school diploma required, BLS preferred or obtained within 30 days, with strong English communication and customer service skills.

The role is per diem, day shift, located in Arcadia, CA, and follows union, non-exempt guidelines as part of USC’s healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to assist therapists with care across adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Excellent customer service behavior.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with scheduling of patients and updating referrals from surgery schedule.
• Transcribe the schedule, distribute schedules to nursing units, and coordinate with teams.
• Set-up, clean up and assist with patient treatment, and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Stock linen and supplies; perform clerical tasks; document communications.
• Communicate effectively regarding patient care and scheduling.
