Job summary

Select Medical is hiring a Clinical Liaison (RN or RRT) for the Akron & Canton area. You will guide patients to our rehabilitation hospitals, advocate for referred patients, and build relationships with hospital case managers and physicians.

You will coordinate pre-admission assessments, educate referral sources, and manage the referral process to ensure smooth patient transitions to post-acute care. The role features an 8 AM to 5 PM schedule with rotating weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist or eligibility.
• Prefer experience in sales/marketing within healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with case managers, physicians and clinicians in acute care hospitals.
• Educate referral sources on rehabilitation services and programs.
• Coordinate pre-admission assessments and manage the referral process.
• Facilitate patient transfers and address barriers to accessing post-acute care.
