Job summary

Bronson LakeView Hospital is seeking a Rehab Support Assistant to back the Physical Therapy team in Paw Paw. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and help keep the office running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include answering phones, collecting payments, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality. Prior experience in medical office settings is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical or office setting is preferred (6–12 months).
• High school diploma or GED required with strong organization skills.
• Comfort with computers and basic office software; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and verify demographics.
• Schedule and confirm appointments across multiple facilities.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations.
• Answer phones, take messages, and route inquiries.
• Collect payments and maintain patient records accurately.
• Keep schedules and supplies organized to support the rehab team.
