Summary:

The Clinic Director manages the physical therapy clinic, ensures patient and employee satisfaction, and oversees evaluation and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include clinical operations, clinic growth, and staff development. The director oversees staff, manages scheduling, develops relationships with referral sources, and ensures compliance with standards. Success is measured by revenue, growth, relationships, and staff development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality daily patient therapy, including evaluations, care plans, treatment, and discharge, with complete documentation.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Drive Key Performance Indicators such as units per hour, patient visits, cancellations, referrals, and billing trends.
• Provide therapy using manual techniques, modalities, exercises, and functional progressions.
• Identify staff development opportunities and facilitate clinical skills training.
• Ensure daily treatment notes are complete and billing is accurate before sign-off.
• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain equipment in safe and clean condition.
• Monitor patient discharges and ensure quality standards.
• Participate in budgeting and ensure staff compliance in documentation.
• Supervise clinical staff, including recruitment and retention.
• Manage employee relations and performance, providing feedback and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare and other regulatory guidelines.
• Manage staffing schedules, approve timecards, and develop marketing strategies to grow referral sources.
• Provide educational programs for referral sources and the community.
• Analyze patient satisfaction feedback for service improvements.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Current PT license, registration, or certification as per state regulations
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and balancing.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift/move over 100 pounds.
