Amazon Leo seeks a Senior Product Regulatory Compliance Engineer to drive regulatory strategy for hardware across launch countries. You will collaborate with product management and design to ensure safety, EMC, wireless, and environmental compliance for market entry.

Responsibilities include leading regulatory research and certification campaigns, coordinating with legal and testing labs, and guiding cross-functional teams to meet hardware compliance timelines. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
• Experience leading and defining requirements and driving these across diverse organizations
• 5+ years of managing complex technology projects working directly with engineering teams
• 5+ years in a consumer electronics regulatory and/or compliance role
• Experience with EMC Regulatory Compliance i.e.: CISPR 32 / EN55032, CISPR 35 / EN55035, FCC Part 15/B (US) / ICES-003 (CA)
• Experience with Intentional RF Transmission Regulatory Compliance i.e.: ETSI 303 699, ETSI 303 413, ETSI 301 489 and FCC Part 25 (US) / SRSP-101 (CA)
• Experience with safety regulatory requirements i.e.: IEC 62368-1
• Experience with Environmental Compliance, Energy Efficiency and HazLoc/ATEx regulatory requirements
• 5+ years of supply chain and/or manufacturing for complex systems/devices
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related, or equivalent work experience

Responsabilités

• Drive global regulatory strategy across hardware portfolio and launch countries with product management and design teams
• Ensure products meet international safety, EMC, wireless, and environmental regulations for market entry
• Conduct regulatory research, testing, and certification management across country requirements
• Develop test plans and procedures for customer terminals and accessories throughout development
• Lead cross-functional teams through regulatory challenges to meet hardware compliance needs
• Assemble and manage requirements based on target launch countries and regions
• Coordinate with legal and homologation teams to resolve regulatory questions
• Collaborate with ODM/JDMs and internal teams to address regulatory queries
• Stay informed about program changes and represent Compliance interests organization-wide
• Act as regulatory subject matter expert for consumer electronics, automotive, maritime and aviation domains
