Responsibilities

• The employee reports to the Regulatory Supervisor/Consultant and Program Operations Administrator on the Advanced Processing Team in the Board of Nursing and coordinates workflow as the Regulatory Specialist III.
• Compile documentation for applicants requiring board review and prepare summaries and packets for board meetings and agendas.
• Draft the Notice of Hearing with date, time, location and committee placement.
• Evaluate complex licensure applications and verify licensure statuses or any disciplinary actions.
• Notify applicants of deficiencies and processing statuses and clarify applicable statutes or processing procedures.
• Maintain electronic licensure filing system and prepare supplemental documents for imaging.
• Monitor conditionally approved files and process exemptions after Background Screening Unit review.
• Provide training materials and presentations as part of the board's training team.
