The State of Florida's Division of Hotels & Restaurants in Tallahassee is seeking a Regulatory Specialist II to handle regulatory administrative duties, answer public inquiries, and assist with plan review documentation within Versa: Regulation and related systems.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, office procedures, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. It is not a remote position; hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
• General computer experience including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of office procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Independently review and research Plan Review applications prior to profiling into Versa: Regulation.
• Provide customer service via telephone, email and counter assistance.
• Process and verify incoming checks; maintain the Central Intake Unit database and related records.
