Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience drafting ESA and NEPA regulatory documents.
  • Knowledge of ESA, MSA, NEPA, and related statutes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific and technical support to conduct interagency consultations.
  • Review and analyze scientific data to evaluate environmental impacts.
  • Draft ESA Biological Opinions and NEPA documentation.

Skills

Strong technical writing and communication skills
Knowledge of salmonid general life cycles
Valid state driver’s license

Education

Bachelor’s degree in aquatic biology or related field
Master’s degree in aquatic biology or related field
