Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accounting Manager in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on preparing and researching required regulatory filings to ensure compliance with FFIEC, Fed, and OCC guidance.

You will collaborate with IT and Finance Data Resource Group to gather data, perform UAT, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 6 or more years of experience in auditing, regulatory reporting or SEC reporting.
• Public accounting and/or external financial reporting experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and/or core banking processes is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong time management and ability to self-prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and implement new systems and processes.
• Proficiency in Excel with advanced functions and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze required banking regulatory reports (Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q, FR Y-14A, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15, TIC Reports, FR Y-6, FR Y-10, FR Y-8).
• Create clear, accurate documentation of reported numbers and supporting conclusions.
• Analyze results and provide management with trend insights and explanations.
