Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. in Detroit seeks an experienced Regulatory Reporting Accounting Manager to lead regulatory filings with Federal Reserve, FFIEC and OCC guidelines.

You will prepare, review and submit reports (Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, FR Y-15, etc.), document conclusions, and collaborate with IT and Finance Data for data sourcing and testing. You will interact with regulators, perform reconciliations, drive process improvements, and ensure strong controls and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 6+ years of experience in auditing, regulatory reporting or SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, research, review and submit required regulatory filings in compliance with applicable standards.
• Prepare and analyze banking regulatory reports such as the Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q, FR Y-14A, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15, TIC Reports, FR Y-6, FR Y-10, FR Y-8.
• Document reported numbers and supporting conclusions clearly.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance Data Resource Group to gather data and perform UAT.
• Interact with regulators regarding various reports.
• Perform reconciliations to other regulatory and external filings.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting data and efficiency while maintaining compliance.
