Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a seasoned regulatory reporting specialist to lead Axiom implementations for banking clients. You will translate complex regulatory instructions into robust reporting solutions, focusing on FFIEC 031/041, FR Y-9C, FR 2644, FR 2900, and FR Y-9LP.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, validating data lineage, and guiding data governance and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and high quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in U.S. bank regulatory reporting.
• Strong understanding of data sourcing, reporting logic, taxonomy design, and source-to-target mapping.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and translate regulatory guidance into reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across business, data, risk, finance, and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Axiom regulatory reporting implementations for banking clients, with a focus on agency reports including Call Reports (FFIEC 031/041), FR Y-9C, FR 2644, FR 2900, and FR Y-9LP.
• Partner with clients and project teams to gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements, translating complex regulatory instructions into effective Axiom reporting solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise and challenge reporting requirements, design decisions, and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
• Advise on reporting logic, taxonomy design, source-to-target mapping, and data requirements to support accurate and compliant regulatory reporting.
• Drive best practices related to regulatory reporting automation, data governance, controls, and data quality management.
