Job summary

Nasdaq seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst for its Axiom Regulatory Reporting practice. You will partner with financial institutions to design and optimize regulatory reporting on the Axiom platform, guiding clients through data and rule challenges while aligning with U.S. regulatory expectations.

This client-facing role emphasizes business, data, and technology, working with banking and broker-dealer clients to drive solutions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of regulatory reporting experience in banking, broker‑dealer, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial products, balance sheet, and accounting concepts.
• Ability to read SQL, analyze data, and collaborate with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document data and reporting requirements.
• Translate regulatory rules into functional specs and configuration approaches in Axiom.
• Advise on industry best practices, implementations, and process improvements.
• Provide SME guidance on U.S. regulatory frameworks (Fed, OCC, FDIC, SEC, FINRA).
• Perform data analysis, mapping, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
