Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a meticulous Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join a leading financial institution in Westlake, TX. This temporary role focuses on daily production, validation, and submission of critical liquidity reports, leveraging SQL to analyze large data sets and ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with finance, risk, data management, and technology teams to resolve data discrepancies, implement automation, and improve controls.

• Strong SQL and Excel skills with large datasets and complex queries.
• Experience with liquidity regulatory reporting (FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR).
• Experience with AxiomSL ControllerView.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily regulatory reporting production, validation, and submission activities.
• Perform detailed variance analysis, reconciliations, and quality reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize SQL to analyze large datasets, investigate reporting anomalies, and identify root causes.
• Monitor data feeds and interfaces; identify and track issues through resolution.
• Support data validation, reconciliations, and reporting controls.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, data management, and technology teams to resolve data discrepancies and enhance reporting.
• Maintain and enhance reporting procedures, governance evidence, and audit support materials.
• Participate in testing and production validation of regulatory reporting changes and system upgrades.
• Identify and implement automation to improve efficiency and controls.
• Develop business requirements for enhancements supporting liquidity regulatory reporting.
• Create/optimize SQL queries and build analytical models and automation solutions.
• Analyze data from databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
