Job summary

Aquent is seeking a meticulous regulatory reporting professional to join a leading financial institution in a role focused on liquidity reporting and data-driven decision support. You will oversee daily production, validation, and submission of key regulatory reports and collaborate across finance, risk, and technology teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• 2–5 years of financial institution experience.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting, especially banking/Broker-Dealer.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills with large datasets and complex queries.
• Experience with liquidity regulatory reporting (FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR).
• Experience with AxiomSL ControllerView.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily regulatory reporting production, validation, and submission activities.
• Perform variance analyses, reconciliations, and quality reviews for reporting accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize SQL to analyze large datasets and investigate data issues.
• Monitor data feeds and system interfaces; identify and track issues through resolution.
• Support other regulatory reporting processes including data validation and controls.
• Partner with finance, risk, data management, and IT teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and enhance reporting procedures, governance, and audit materials.
• Participate in testing and validation of reporting changes and system upgrades.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Develop business requirements for functional and nonfunctional enhancements for liquidity reporting.
• Create and optimize SQL queries for datasets of varying complexity.
