Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a seasoned Senior Regulatory Project Manager to lead the development and execution of major regulatory case filings across jurisdictions. You will steer project management practices, sponsor testimony when needed, and ensure timely, compliant filings while aligning with corporate objectives.

In this role, you will coordinate diverse teams, manage information requests and discovery, and propose strategic approaches to regulatory proceedings.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business or related discipline required.
• 8–10 years experience in regulatory field.
• Experience with existing and emerging regulatory issues.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the regulatory case lifecycle from evaluation to filing.
• Coordinate preparation of testimony, exhibits, data requests, and filing packages.
• Maintain compliance with case schedules and manage interdisciplinary teams.
• Identify and facilitate involvement of business groups for filings.
• Develop tools to monitor case progression and inform management decisions.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory strategy and outcomes.
• Respond to information requests and discovery with cross‑functional teams.
