Google is seeking a Regulatory and Litigation Counsel, Privacy, to join a Global team addressing high and emerging risks related to data incidents. You will collaborate with Global Affairs, People Ops, Communications, Engineering, and other investigations teams to manage regulatory interactions and risk.

Qualifications

• JD, LL.B., equivalent degree.
• Admitted to the bar or authorized to practice law in the posting state.
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or a law firm.
• 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory and litigation matters, including addressing, minimizing, and avoiding regulatory risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to data incidents and consult on related regulatory inquiries, investigations, litigation, enforcement actions, and overlapping civil matters.
• Oversee the collection and production of accurate information in external submissions and disclosures.
