Job summary

Google is seeking a Regulatory and Litigation Counsel, Privacy, to join a global team addressing high-risk data incidents and regulatory inquiries. You will work with Global Affairs, Product, Engineering, and investigations teams to manage risk and ensure compliant, timely responses.

The role requires a JD or equivalent, bar admission, and extensive experience in regulatory matters and litigation. US-based applicants may be considered for multiple locations including SF, Mountain View, and other

Qualifications

• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
• 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory and litigation matters, including addressing, minimizing, and avoiding regulatory risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to data incidents. Consult on related regulatory inquiries, investigations, litigation, enforcement actions, and overlapping civil matters.
• Oversee the collection and production of accurate information in external submissions and disclosures.
