Job summary

Google LLC in Mountain View, CA seeks Regulatory and Litigation Counsel, Privacy Defense, Incidents and Regulatory Investigations to join a global team handling high‑risk data incidents and regulatory inquiries.

You will collaborate with Global Affairs, People Operations, Communications, Engineering, and Investigation teams to minimize regulatory exposure while supporting incident responses and disclosures.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the bar and in good standing or authorized to practice law in the posting state.
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firm.
• 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory and litigation matters, including mitigating regulatory risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to data incidents. Consult on related regulatory inquiries, investigations, litigation, enforcement actions, and overlapping civil matters.
• Oversee the collection and production of accurate information in external submissions and disclosures.
