Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Regulatory and Litigation Counsel in Privacy Defense to join a Global team addressing high‑risk data incidents and regulatory inquiries. You will work with Global Affairs, People Operations, Communications, and Engineering on robust responses and proactive programs.

Qualified candidates hold a bar admission and bring 7+ years in regulatory, government, in‑house, or law firm settings, with strong privacy, data security, and consumer protection experience.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the bar and in good standing or authorized to practice law in the state of the position.
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firm.
• 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory and litigation matters, including addressing, minimizing, and avoiding regulatory risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to data incidents. Consult on regulatory inquiries, investigations, litigation, enforcement actions, and overlapping civil matters.
• Oversee the collection and production of accurate information in external submissions and disclosures.
