State of Iowa - Executive Branch is seeking a Program Planner 2 – Monitoring Specialist for the Licensing Division at the central office in Des Moines. You will independently monitor disciplinary orders, liaise with boards and respondents, and coordinate with other bureaus to ensure compliance and due process.

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time work experience in the administration or operation/execution of a program (consultation/technical assistance, research/analysis, or enforcement of guidelines).
• Four years of combined education and experience: 30 college semester hours equals one year, plus two years of graduate-level study and experience as described.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch including eighteen months as a Program Planner 1.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor professional licensing division's program for assigned professions in collaboration with the program coordinator.
• Maintain regular contact with respondents and determine compliance with disciplinary orders.
• Serve as liaison between the board and respondents and coordinate with other bureaus.
