Job Description Summary
Salary: $108,617.60 - $162,864.00 annually.

Monitors existing State and Federal regulatory programs with a focus on environmental permits for TRWD projects, including construction and water rights. Develops strategies to facilitate permit acquisition and coordinates necessary permits to support TRWD.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor environmental permits for TRWD resources and projects.
  • Coordinate strategies for acquiring environmental permits within TRWD and with outside consulting groups.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies by coordinating with Federal, State, and local authorities.
  • Identify environmental risks and develop programs to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage environmental and regulatory reporting, verifying the quality of submissions to government agencies.
  • Oversee environmental and regulatory inspections and perform field assessments.
  • Monitor regulatory program changes and evaluate impacts on TRWD resources.
  • Work with TRWD Environmental staff to monitor compliance with permits such as MS4.
  • Prepare budgets related to environmental responsibilities.
  • Represent TRWD in interactions with regulatory entities and environmental groups.
