Job summary

MD7 is seeking a Land Use Planner in Allen, TX to oversee the procurement of zoning entitlements and construction permits for Wireless Telecommunication and EVCS infrastructure teams. The role requires deep knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, plus the ability to draft reports for jurisdiction applications and drive site acquisition with strong stakeholder engagement.

You will build relationships with jurisdictions, lead public hearings, and provide project updates to clients

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ability to draft zoning reports for jurisdiction applications
  • Experience coordinating with jurisdictions and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement of zoning entitlements and construction permits for Wireless Telecommunication and EVCS projects.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and forecasts.
  • Submit complete entitlement and permit applications and respond to jurisdiction comments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and agencies to progress projects toward approval.
  • Support EV infrastructure projects alongside Small Cell telecommunications as needed.
  • Monitor forecast dates and adjust schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop compliant solutions for approvals.
  • Review construction documents related to wireless and EVCS infrastructure.
  • Drive project efficiency by proactively addressing challenges.
